    This job provides library customer service as well as front line technical support for the ENC community's computer needs.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Front line technical support for students, faculty and staff
    • Assist library patrons
    • Direct students to proper library staff for questions
    • Manage circulation and delivery of Audio Visual equipment
    • Use cash register to collect payments for printing and fines
    • Keep desk and computers tidy
    • Be aware of people coming in and out of building
    • Monitor study room usage; lock when students' leave
    • Aid in managing Nease Mac Computer lab during daytime hours: fill printer, aid students in times of crisis, etc.

    Knowledge and Skills Needed:

    • Completion of all training and job related projects
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally in person, on the telephone, electronically, and in writing.
    • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Ability to meet an assigned work schedule 
    • Possess keyboard skills necessary to complete assigned tasks and functions
    • Ability to lift AV equipment such as projectors, laptops, screens and sound equipment and go up and down stairs.
